A Harbour at Dusk
By Sofia Wren · 28 June 2026There is a bench on the western quay where you can sit and watch the boats come in. It faces west so you get the full sunset. I have been going there for three years and I have never once sat alone for long.
Someone always appears. A fisherman coiling rope. A couple arguing quietly. A child running ahead of their parents. The harbour is a place where the island's rhythms are visible — arrival, departure, the persistence of daily life.
Why this place matters
SAWA exists because of places like this. Not the harbour itself, but the feeling it produces — of being somewhere specific, in a community of people who chose to be here. That feeling is what we are trying to build into everything we do.
Come find us this summer.
